Project objective
The aim of the project was to create an effective rainwater retention system in the parking lot at the Municipal Office in Świdnik. The solution was to:
Design challenge
Initially, it was planned to use tanks made of corrugated sheet metal with a non-circular profile. However, after numerous consultations and negotiations with the investor and people responsible for the project, it was possible to convince all stakeholders to change the concept in favor of a more modern and durable solution – GRP pipes.
The solution used – Amiblu technology
Amiblu designed and supplied two retention tanks with a total capacity of approximately 1200 m³. Key elements of the solution:
Pipe type: Hobas DN3270 SN5000 N/m² PN01
Production: Amiblu factory in Dąbrowa Górnicza
Construction: Two-line tanks, made of GRP pipes, for which detailed static calculations have been made to confirm the possibility of their installation in given ground conditions.
Additional elements: Each tank is equipped with two wells on arches and a set of fittings, creating two independent labyrinth tanks.
Tank connection: Hobas pipe collector DN800 SN10000 N/m² PN01.
Effects and benefits
Aesthetics and functionality – the tanks have been integrated into the existing parking infrastructure without interfering with its functioning.
Applications
The project in Świdnik is an example of an effective combination of modern technologies with the needs of the city’s infrastructure. Thanks to the investor’s openness to innovation and the commitment of the project team, it was possible to implement a solution that not only solves current problems but also prepares the city for future climate challenges.
Cel projektu
Firma Amiblu zaprojektowała i dostarczyła dwa zbiorniki retencyjne o łącznej pojemności około 1200 m³. Kluczowe elementy rozwiązania:
Typ rur: Hobas DN3270 SN5000 N/m² PN01
Efekty i korzyści
Estetyka i funkcjonalność – zbiorniki zostały zintegrowane z istniejącą infrastrukturą parkingową bez ingerencji w jej funkcjonowanie.
Wnioski
