Amiblu PROX debuts in Italy with landmark Emilia-Romagna project
If Amiblu PROX had an Italian passport, would it go by “Amiblu Prossimo”?
Name aside, what really matters is that PROX has now officially entered the Italian market with its first reference project.
The Consorzio di Bonifica dell’Emilia Centrale has completed a key project on the Risalita canal in the municipalities of Campegine and Castelnovo Sotto in Emilia-Romagna. About 1,400 m of Amiblu PROX pipes DN 1000 were installed in open trench as part of the resection and consolidation of the canal banks and the construction of the new Morana Diversion.
The project was carried out under the NextGenerationEU programme for flood risk management and hydrogeological risk reduction. Works started on 25 August and were successfully completed by 6 September, executed on site by I.L.S.E.T. SRL and COGESTRA SRL.
This is the first time Amiblu PROX pipes were used in a project in Italy. PROX offers full GRP performance with a significantly reduced environmental footprint, thanks to optimized raw materials, production, and logistics. Learn more here: https://www.amiblu.com/prox-pipes/
